1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant - Banbury
Start Date: ASAP / January 2026
Pay: £89-£100 per day
A supportive and welcoming primary school in Banbury is looking for a committed 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to work with a pupil who has an EHCP. This role is perfect for someone patient, nurturing and passionate about helping children with additional needs thrive.
Role Responsibilities
Provide tailored 1:1 support for a pupil with SEN
Assist with learning activities, daily routines and emotional regulation
Follow the pupil's EHCP and apply strategies recommended by the SENCO
Encourage confidence, engagement and independence
Work closely with the class teacher and wider school teamIdeal Candidate
Experience supporting children with SEN (in a school or care setting)
A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
