The Position – 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant
Qualiteach have a new opportunity available in Waltham Forest for a Primary 1:1 Teaching Assistant who is available full time from September. The role consists of working alongside a pupil in Year 5 that has challenging behaviour and ADHD. The role is to support this pupil on 1:1 basis to ensure they are working to the best of their ability. The role is all about relationship building with the pupil as the pupil will warm and listen to the right Teaching Assistant. Ideally, the Teaching Assistant will have relatable qualifications to the industry and experience working as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant.

The school is a form four entry Primary school based in Waltham Forest. The school is a mixed community school with Nursery classes and due to the schools size offers plenty of career progression within the industry.
