Supply Desk is looking for passionate and dedicated 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistants and Support Staff to join our growing network of partner schools across Watford and the wider Hertfordshire area.

About You
Are you passionate about helping pupils with special educational needs thrive?
Whether you already have experience supporting children with autism (ASC), ADHD, dyslexia, learning difficulties, SEMH or other additional needs, or you're looking to develop your career within SEND education, we have opportunities that could suit your skills and experience.
Our dedicated consultants will work closely with you to understand your experience, preferred location, availability and career goals before matching you with suitable partner schools across Watford and Hertfordshire.
Requirements
Experience supporting children or young people within an educational or SEND setting is desirable
Knowledge or understanding of ASC, ADHD, SEMH, dyslexia, learning difficulties or other SEND needs
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good behaviour-management skills
Patience, empathy and a genuine passion for supporting children and young people
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, teachers, SENDCos and support staff
Flexibility and adaptability when working within different school environments
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
