Smile Education is proud to be working in partnership with the Endeavour Multi Academy Trust on the recruitment for a SEND teaching assistant to join their team from September 2025.
We are currently looking for a part-time, Level 3 teaching assistant with passion and experience in supporting children with SEND.

What will your day look like?
Supporting a child in a KS2 classroom on a 1:1 basis, following individual education and health plans.
Working closely with the class teacher and SENDCO to ensure high quality learning and development for the individual.
Providing regulation strategies to support the child’s emotional and behavioural needs.
Maintaining strong, positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
Creating a safe, engaging and positive learning environment.
Supporting a classroom teaching assistant where required.

Are you suitable for this role?
Level 3 teaching assistant qualification is required.
Must have experience supporting children with SEND and in a primary school setting.
Must show a dedicated and positive manner to supporting children’s learning and education.
Be adaptive and have strong communication skills.
Can travel to Burton on Trent.
