Job Title: 1:1 Teaching Assistant
Location: Thanet
Start Date: 1st September 2025
Salary: £450.00 to £600.00 per week (PAYE, Pension, Weekly pay, CPD)1:1 Teaching Assistant - Thanet
Academics, Thanet are currently working with a reputable secondary school in Thanet who are seeking dedicated and passionate 1:1 Teaching Assistants to join their team. The ideal candidates will have experience working with students in a one-on-one capacity, providing tailored support to meet their individual learning needs.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with an assigned student to support their academic and personal development.
Assist in implementing individualised education plans as directed by the classroom teacher/SEN Lead.
Provide feedback to the teacher/SEN Lead on student progress and any concerns that may arise.
Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for the student.Requirements:
Previous experience of working with children.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience and empathy when working with students.
Ability to follow instruction and work effectively as part of a team.
Ideally you will have 1 of the following…
A degree qualification
Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education.Benefits:
