1:1 Teaching Assistant - Primary School (NN2)
Northampton , NN2 | Full-Time, Term-Time Only | Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
We are looking for a compassionate and committed 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in the NN2 area. This is a full-time, term-time only role working Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm, starting as soon as possible.
🔍 About the Role:
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils who may have additional or special educational needs (SEN), helping them to access learning, build confidence, and reach their full potential. You'll work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver personalised support throughout the school day.
✅ Requirements:
Experience or strong knowledge of SEN (Special Educational Needs) is essential
A patient, nurturing, and resilient approach to working with children
A valid Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
Strong communication and teamwork skills
