1:1 Teaching Assistant - Macclesfield
Are you a caring and committed Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding 1:1 role supporting a child's learning and development? Whether you're an experienced TA or just starting your journey in education, Academics has exciting opportunities for 1:1 Teaching Assistants in Macclesfield and the surrounding areas!
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable 1:1 Teaching Assistants to work closely with pupils in primary schools across Macclesfield for the new academic year. These roles offer a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in a child's life, with flexibility, support, and ongoing development.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 support to pupils with additional needs, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their full potential
Build positive relationships with the pupil to support their emotional and academic development
Work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO to implement personalised learning strategies
Assist with classroom activities and ensure the pupil is fully included in the school environment
Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to staff and parents (as directed)
Being adaptable to different needs (ASD, EHCP, SEN, Behaviour Support, Low Level Learners)
Role Requirements:
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a support role with children - 1:1 experience is desirable but not essential
A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
Right to work in the UK
