Salary: £90 – £120 per day
About the Role:
A supportive and inclusive school in Aylesbury is looking for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated support to a pupil with additional needs. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a child’s learning and development in a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 support for a pupil in the classroom and during other school activities
Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons and adapting resources as required
Implement strategies and support plans set by the SENCO or specialist staff
Monitor, record, and report on pupil progress
Encourage independence, confidence, and social development
Requirements:
Experience working 1:1 with children, ideally with SEN or additional needs
Empathetic, patient, and adaptable approach
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to follow guidance from teaching staff and specialists
