About the Role:
A secondary school in Aylesbury is seeking a compassionate and resilient 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work with a student who requires tailored support due to additional needs. You will play a key role in helping them access the curriculum and develop independence.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personalised support for a student on a 1:1 basis
Implement learning and behaviour strategies set out in their EHCP
Assist with lessons, interventions, and social development
Monitor progress and feedback to teachers and SENCO
Requirements:
Experience working with young people with SEN or behaviour needs
Positive, patient, and calm nature
Strong communication and teamwork skills
