1:1 Teaching Assistant - Warrington - September 2025 to July 2026
Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a history of supporting children with either SEN or SEMH needs?
A fantastic secondary school located in the Warrington area is eager to find a motivated, personable and understanding 1:1 Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated academic, social and emotional support to a child within their Year 8 group.
In this role as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, the successful candidate will be required to support a child with selective mutism, moderate learning difficulties and operating at a low academic level. The role will include academic support across the majority of secondary subjects, with a keen impetus being placed on building a real rapport with the child.

1:1 Teaching Assistant - Role Information:
Providing dedicated 1:1 academic, social and emotional support to Year 8 student
Supporting student both inside and out of the classroom setting
Focusing on building meaningful rapport with student across academic year
Monday to Friday position - September 2025 to July 2026
Working hours: 08.30am - 15.30pm during term time inc. 40 minute lunch break
Paid £92.00 per day during term time only1:1 Teaching Assistant - Applicant Requirements:
Minimum 6 months experience supporting children or adults with SEMH needs
Outgoing and naturally empathetic individual
Excellent organisation and communication skills
Passionate about the all-round progression of children and young people
Available to work for full academic year
