Teaching Assistant - TeamTeach Trained | Wirral based Primary School| September Start 🌟
Daily Rate: £85 - £100
Contract: Full-time, Term-time | Start Date: September 2025
Are you a compassionate, resilient, and proactive Teaching Assistant with TeamTeach positive handling training? Are you ready to make a real difference in a supportive and inclusive school setting on the Wirral?
We are working closely with a well-respected primary/special school in the Wirral area to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a full-time role starting this September. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a passionate team committed to helping every child thrive-academically, socially, and emotionally.
🔹 The Role:
Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including SEMH, ASC, or behavioural challenges.
Assisting the class teacher in creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
Implementing de-escalation and behaviour strategies, using your TeamTeach training.
Working 1:1 or in small groups, providing both academic and emotional support.
🔹 The Ideal Candidate:
TeamTeach positive handling training is essential.
Experience supporting children with SEND and/or challenging behaviour.
Calm, patient, and adaptable approach with a passion for working with young people.
DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
🔹 Benefits:
