1:1 Tutor for EHCP Students – Stafford
£25–£30 per hour | Flexible hours | Immediate start
The Catch-Up Academy is seeking a passionate 1:1 Tutor to work with students on Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) in the Stafford area.
About the Role
You’ll deliver tailored, one-to-one lessons that meet each student’s individual needs. Flexibility, patience, and creativity are key to helping learners engage and progress.
About The Catch-Up Academy
We specialise in personalised tuition and alternative provision for young people who need additional support outside of mainstream education. Our tutors make a direct, positive impact by helping students rebuild confidence and achieve their potential.
About the Students
Our learners come from diverse backgrounds, often with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). They may face challenges with mainstream learning environments, so your role will be to provide consistent, supportive teaching that makes education accessible and engaging.
What We’re Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
*
SEND knowledge and understanding
*
Experience working with SEND students – desirable but not essential
*
Empathy, adaptability, and commitment to making a difference
