Job Description

TUTOR - MATHS, ENGLISH AND SCIENCE
 Location: Burscough
 Rate: £25-£30 per hour
 Flexible Hours Available

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and motivated Tutor to provide one‑to‑one or small group support to students in the Burscough area. This is a fantastic opportunity to help learners build confidence, strengthen their understanding of core subjects, and achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities

Provide tailored one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions
Support students in Maths, English and Science
Help students build confidence, develop effective study habits, and improve academic performance
Track progress and provide regular, constructive feedback to students and parents

Requirements

QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification, or relevant learning support experience
Experience tutoring or teaching students
Strong knowledge of the PMY/SEC curriculum
A genuine passion for teaching and supporting student development
Strong communication and organisational skills
