Job Title: Mobile Electrical Engineer
Location: Huntingdon, Peterborough, Cambridge, Kettering & Surrounding Areas (Cambridgeshire)
Salary: £41,000 – £45,000 + Overtime + £150 Standby (1 in 10)
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

🔧 Mobile Electrical Engineer – Commercial & Government Sites
An excellent opportunity has become available for a Mobile Electrical Engineer to join a major facilities management contract covering a diverse portfolio of sites across Cambridgeshire, including retail banks, DEFRA locations, schools, and other government buildings.
This role offers long-term stability, a competitive salary, planned overtime opportunities, and a company van for personal use.
✅ The Role:
*
Electrical testing and inspection (EICRs)
*
Remedial works following fixed wire testing
*
General electrical maintenance and fault finding
*
50/50 split of electrical and general building services work
*
Completing compliance paperwork and reports
*
On-call rota participation (1 in 10 weeks, £150 standby)
*
Travelling between sites in the Cambridgeshire region
🛠 Key Requirements:
*
C&G 2391 Testing & Inspection – Essential
*
Level 3 Electrical Installation (C&G or NVQ)
*
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
*
Full UK Driving Licence
*
Strong electrical fault-finding and maintenance experience
*
Comfortable working independently and interacting with clients
*
Able to pass BPSS clearance
