Are you an experienced 121 Teaching Assistant looking for your next rewarding opportunity? A welcoming and supportive primary school in Peterborough is seeking a dedicated 121 Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025.
This full-time role involves providing individual support to a child with additional learning needs, helping them to access the curriculum and thrive in the classroom setting.
About the Role:
Support a pupil on a 121 basis within a mainstream primary class.
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored strategies.
Foster independence, confidence, and emotional wellbeing.
Engage the child in both academic and social activities throughout the day.
What We're Looking For:
Experience working as a 121 Teaching Assistant, particularly within a primary school setting.
Calm, patient, and nurturing approach to behaviour and communication.
Ability to follow structured plans and adapt support where needed.
