Job Title: 14 to 16 Coordinator
Location: Worksop
Contract: Temporary until 31st January 2026
Rate: Dependent on Experience
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week
Our Client is seeking an energetic and flexible 14–16 Coordinator to support the success of learners aged 14 to 16. This role focuses on Electively Home Educated (EHE) students and those accessing provision through school links, ensuring they receive high-quality education and pastoral support.
You will manage a caseload of learners, coordinate wraparound support, and act as an advocate throughout their educational journey. The role involves working closely with schools, local authorities, and internal teams to monitor progress, attendance, and retention, while safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with curriculum teams and local authorities to deliver a broad curriculum for EHE learners.
* Ensure high-quality education and pastoral support for all students in the 14–16 provision.
* Manage safeguarding responsibilities for EHE and school-linked learners.
* Track and monitor attendance, retention, and progression data.
* Liaise with schools to agree meaningful provision for Y10 and Y11 students.
* Coordinate multi-agency meetings and contribute to learner reviews.
Requirements:
* Experience supporting young people with educational and social barriers.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Knowledge of pre- and post-16 education and safeguarding practices.
* Ability to work flexibly and manage conflicting priorities.
* Driving licence and access to a vehicle.
