The Role We are seeking a 1st Line Support Technician to join our dynamic IT team. Our team is committed to providing top-tier support and innovative solutions to ensure our company's technology runs smoothly. As an onsite 1st Line Support Technician, you will spend the majority of your time providing technical assistance and support to our staff across the country. You will work closely with our IT professionals to resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for technology to expand their experience in front line IT Services. Key Responsibilities Delivering exceptional customer service by promptly assisting with any queries or concerns, using phone or e-ticket, logging tickets via Heat software Log faults with 3rd party maintainers, following up and ensuring resolutions are completed within agreed SLA’s Provide up to date documentation, when producing or changing IT networking, hardware or software configurations Assist with conception, design and implementation of any new or enhanced IS Systems. Act as an escalation level for fault tickets not resolved by the First Line Support Team. Arrange distribution of any inventory items which need to be dispatched from the IS Department Deliver 'best customer service' to all company staff. As required, assist the build of IS Devices to an agreed standard, laptop, desktops and mobiles. What We’re Looking For Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organisational abilities with a keen attention to detail. Experience within a similar customer focused role. An in-depth knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft application software and Office 365 with the ability to diagnose and resolve software issues. Strong knowledge of Desktop and Laptop hardware and be able to troubleshoot problems. Basic knowledge of PowerShell scripting Basic knowledge of Thin Client technology. Knowledge of Android and other mobile operating systems. Knowledge of WAN, LAN and wireless. Strong knowledge of Desktop and Laptop hardware and be able to diagnose and resolve hardware issues Why Join Us?
