Role: 24/5 Nanny
Care for: 14-month-old twins (boy and girl)
Location: Chelsea, London
Hours: 24/5 live-in rota
Salary: £65,000 gross per annum (Jlexible to pay more for the right candidate) Start: ASAP
We’re working with a lovely family in Chelsea who are looking for an experienced and con:ident Nanny to care for their 14-month-old twins - a boy and a girl. The family is seeking someone calm, capable, and genuinely passionate about childcare, who can bring warmth, structure, and a loving presence to the home.
The twins are at a delightful stage. The little boy is full of energy - curious, adventurous, and always on the move. He’s just on the cusp of walking and loves being active, exploring, and engaging in anything that involves movement and play. His sister has a more gentle nature - thoughtful, affectionate, and observant. She enjoys books, sensory play, and quietly taking in the world around her. Both children are happy, sociable, and thriving in a consistent routine. They attend nursery part-time and are already in a great sleep rhythm.
The family home is spacious, with a private garden and its own playground - ideal for a Nanny who enjoys outdoor play and fresh air. You’ll have your own sleeping space and, for now, will share a room with the twins overnight (this is temporary). A full-time housekeeper manages all nursery-related laundry and ironing, and the family would love someone who enjoys cooking simple, healthy meals for the children from scratch.
Both parents work from home and are very engaged in their children’s lives. They have a clear parenting ethos - calm, consistent, screen-free, and play-focused - and while they know what works for their family, they also value thoughtful input from their Nanny and welcome a collaborative approach.
The family travels throughout the year, including extended trips to the US of up to two months. Ideally, their Nanny will be happy to accompany them, but they are open to less travel for the right person.
