2D CAD Technician (Electrical Bias)– Contract Role
Rate: £32 - £36/hr (Outside IR35)
Location: London
Schedule: 2–3 days per week in the office
Hours: 08:00–16:30
We are seeking an experienced 2D Electrical CAD Technician to join a major telecoms infrastructure project on the London Underground. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a high-profile rail project, working with a collaborative and knowledgeable team.
Key Responsibilities:

Produce 2D electrical drawings, including:
*
Layouts
*
Cable routing
*
Elevations
*
Details
*
Schematics
*
Collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of drawings
Requirements:

Strong proficiency in AutoCAD 2D
*
Background in Electrical or MEP design
*
Experience working in the rail sector or on London Underground projects is preferred but not essential
