The Role
As 2nd in Department - Maths, you will:
Assist the Head of Department in the provision and delivery of a high-quality Maths curriculum.
Support the monitoring and assessment of student progress across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Contribute to the development of teaching and learning within the Maths department.
Act as Deputy Head of Department, deputising as required.
Help coordinate department meetings, training, and policy implementation.
Promote Maths across the school, setting high expectations and standards.2nd in Department - Maths
Candidate Requirements
A relevant degree in Mathematics (or related field) and recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
Experience of teaching Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4.
A proven ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to support colleagues within the department.
