Job details
A1 Jobs are currently recruiting for reliable and motivated 3.5T Van Driver to join our client’s team on a long-term basis possibly leading to a permanent position. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring our goods are delivered safely, on time, and with excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
· Carry out multi-drop deliveries and collections
· Load and unload the vehicle safely and efficiently
· Complete delivery paperwork and use handheld devices for tracking
· Carry out vehicle checks and report any defects
· Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies
Requirements
· Full UK Driving Licence (Category B)
· Minimum 2 years experience driving a 3.5T vehicle
· No more than 6 points on licence. No DD`s or DR`s
· Good knowledge of local and national road networks
· Excellent communication and time management skills
· Physically fit – some lifting may be required
Rates of pay
· Day rate £12.86
· Nights £15.43
· Nights overtime £23.15
· Various shift available
