Responsibilities
Organise and execute HV switching, isolation, earthing, and issue of safety documentation for customer HV networks up to 33kV
Compliant with SSOW in place
Evaluate, review, appoint and maintain a register of skilled/competent persons (including records of training and areas of responsibilities)
Ability to carry out Investigations with respect to near misses, incidents and accidents
Supervise and coordinate on-site teams and sub-contractors, ensuring they complete tasks on time and safely to required standards
Allocate work and ensure completion in accordance with the project schedule and Cx Plan
Adhere to all Statutory Standards and Regulations
Assist teams with resolving matters arising
Maintain effective health and safety systems, including completion of risk assessments, method statements, tool box talks, etc.
Complete project documentation and reports accurately and concisely
Identify corrective actions and implementation of countermeasures to maximise productivity
Liaise with client managers daily and have a voice in project meetingsRequired:
Authorised as SAP able to work on 33kV
Excellent knowledge of Distribution Safety rules and their application.
Excellent H&S Knowledge and Standards
Safe Pass - CCNSG/CSCS or equivalent
The ability to demonstrate a pragmatic and 'common sense' approach to problem solving
The ability to prioritise works, accommodate conflicting requests, whilst ensuring the day to day functionality of the project
Ability to identify faults in project accurately and quickly when under pressure
Excellent leadership skills with proven experience of managing a team
Experience of working within "time critical" production environments
Highly organised with the ability to manage time effectively
EU Passport Holder / EU Resident Visa / EU Work Permit
Confident at running meetings and leading teams
Previous experience as a Senior Authorised Person.
