Job Description:
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a respected Groundworks Contractor for a reliable and experienced Excavator Driver to join a major long-term project expected to last up to 2 years. This is a great opportunity for a committed operator seeking stable, ongoing work.
Key Responsibilities:
*
Operating 360 excavators – both above and below 10 tonne
*
Carrying out digging, grading, drainage, trenching, and general groundwork support
*
Supporting site operations as directed by the Site Manager
*
Daily checks and maintenance of plant equipment
*
Ensuring safe and efficient machine operation at all times
Requirements:
*
Valid CPCS or NPORS Card – must include categories for 360 Excavator above & below 10 tonne
*
Proven experience operating excavators on civil engineering or groundwork projects
*
Strong understanding of site health & safety procedures
*
Good communication and teamwork skills
Desirable:
*
Confined Spaces Certification
*
Additional plant tickets (Dumper, Roller, etc.)
*
Blue Competent Operator Card (CPCS)
