Job Description
Streamline Recruitment are currently seeking a skilled 360 Grab Operator to join a well-established recycling company in Purfleet-on-Thames. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced operator to secure stable, ongoing work with the potential to progress into a permanent position.
You will be part of a busy team responsible for keeping the site running smoothly, ensuring recycling processes are carried out safely and efficiently. Alongside grab work, you will also operate a Counterbalance Forklift and run the baler machine, giving you a varied and engaging role.
Key Responsibilities:
*
360 Grab Operation: Load, move, and process a range of recyclable materials.
*
Counterbalance Forklift Driving: Transport pallets, bales, and materials across the site.
*
Baler Operation: Run and monitor the baler machine, ensuring materials are compacted to company standards.
*
Carry out daily equipment checks, reporting any faults or maintenance needs.
*
Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.
*
Work closely with team members and supervisors to ensure site targets and safety standards are met.
Requirements:
*
Valid 360 Excavator ticket with Grab attachment experience.
*
In-date Counterbalance Forklift licence.
*
Previous experience in recycling, waste management, or a similar heavy plant environment preferred.
*
Strong health & safety awareness and ability to follow site procedures.
*
Reliability, good communication skills, and a proactive approach to work.

Day shifts only – Monday to Friday, 07:45 – 16:30 (no weekends).
