Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced 360 Operator to join our team for a short-term project in London. This role involves operating heavy machinery to assist with drainage excavation and lifting manhole covers. The position is available for a duration of 2-3 weeks, offering an excellent opportunity for professionals with the required certifications to contribute to a critical project.
Responsibilities
Operate a 360 excavator efficiently and safely in accordance with project requirements.
Excavate for drainage systems with precision and care to ensure project specifications are met.
Lift and position manhole covers as part of the drainage installation process.
Conduct routine checks and maintenance of the machinery to ensure optimal performance.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations on-site to maintain a safe working environment.
Collaborate with the site team to ensure smooth and timely project completion.Qualifications
Valid CPCS (Construction Plant Competence Scheme) or NPORS (National Plant Operators Registration Scheme) certification is mandatory.
Proven experience operating a 360 excavator in a construction or civil engineering environment.
Strong understanding of health and safety practices related to heavy machinery operation.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Day-to-Day
Begin each day with a safety briefing and equipment inspection.
Operate the 360 excavator to perform excavation and lifting tasks as directed by the site supervisor.
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
Monitor the condition of the machinery and report any issues promptly.
