We’re expanding our Technical Account Manager (TAM) Team, and we’re looking for a confident, customer-focused engineer with a solid background in infrastructure, cloud services, and endpoint management. This role goes far beyond support — you’ll be a trusted advisor and project leader for your clients.

Key Responsibilities of the 3rd Line IT Engineer:
* Acting as the technical lead for a portfolio of clients, owning their long-term technical roadmap
* Delivering 3rd line support (including on-site visits within your region)
* Designing and documenting technical solutions and infrastructure upgrades
* Leading complex escalations from the Service Desk, providing in-depth troubleshooting and resolution
* Planning, managing, and executing technical projects, ensuring clarity, risk management, and stakeholder updates
* Providing out-of-hours support on a shared rotation basis
What You Bring:
* A logical, methodical approach to problem solving
* Excellent communication skills – both with clients and technical teams
* Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
* Confident managing project timelines and escalating appropriately
* Full UK Driving Licence
Technical Skills & Experience:
* In-depth experience with Microsoft 365, PowerShell, MDM/MAM (e.g., Intune), and RMM tools
* Hands-on endpoint management & deployment experience
* Familiarity with vulnerability management platforms (e.g., Qualys)
* Security-conscious mindset, with exposure to frameworks like Cyber Essentials
* Broad infrastructure knowledge (servers, networks, cloud services)
* MSP experience is advantageous but not essential
Qualifications:
We value experience, but working toward or holding one or more of the following certifications is a strong plus:
* Microsoft 365, CompTIA, GTIA certifications
* Vendor-specific qualifications (Veeam, Mimecast, NinjaOne, Sophos)
