Job Description
Job Title: 66kV SAP
Location: Offshore
Rate of Pay: £750 per day via PAYE Umbrella (inside IR35)
Length of contract: 6 months initial
Responsibilities:
* Ensure safe working practices are in place, reporting incidents, undertaking risk assessments and audits, promoting a positive Health and Safety culture.
* SAP duties as required reporting to Lead SAP.
* Producing and reviewing switching schedules.
* Provide isolations and safety documentation for Dogger Bank wind farm
* Working under Equinor Renewable Electrical Safety Rules (Model Distribution Safety Rules)
* Assisting in the testing and commissioning of HV/LV systems
* Provide personal supervision where required
* Conducting and reviewing risk assessments
Further shared responsibilities within the wider team include driving the commissioning process by representing Dogger Bank's standards for safety and quality, with scope to develop personal competencies under the WTSRs and commissioning walkdowns.
Required:
* Full GWO: Sea Survival, First Aid, Manual Handling, Fire Awareness, Working at Heights.
* Offshore medical certificate including Chester Step
* Offshore HUET
* Knowledge of WTG WTSR
* Knowledge of Model Distribution Safety Rules
* Experience of WTGs, TPs, IACs and OSP/OSSs
* ONC/HNC or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering (preferred)
* Current Senior Authorised Person authorisation to 66KV or above
33kV SAPs with multi-feed experience will also be considered.
Typical 2 weeks on - 2 weeks off rotations, with potential scope for 3 weeks depending on project / personnel requirementsBefore You Apply
