Job Description
66kV Senior Authorised Person required for a major Offshore Wind Farm Developer based in England.
Responsibilities
Producing and reviewing switching schedules.
Main point of contact for switching schedules and permits.
Provide isolations and safety documentation for wind farm working under client's safety rules.
Isolating and de-energising electrical equipment for maintenance or repairs, as well as authorising the re-energising of the system after work is completed.
Ensuring the safety of personnel working with or around high-voltage equipment.
Ensuring that all safety protocols, procedures, and standards are strictly adhered to during all electrical activities.
Conducting safety briefings, risk assessments, and overseeing the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Continuous monitoring of the 66kV electrical system.
Identify and respond to any abnormal conditions, faults, or emergencies promptly.
Monitoring systems and responding to alarms or system abnormalities.Requirements
Senior Authorised Person at 33kV or above under Company Electrical Safety Rules.
Experience switching on multi-feed networks, preferably with DNO/Transmission/WTG experience.
Physically fit, role will require climbing skills.
Must be flexible about working patterns.
Planning & reporting skills.
Good communication and people management skills
