Job Description
We are currently looking for a reliable and hard-working 7.5-tonne (7.5T) delivery driver for a 2-man delivery team to join our growing operation. The role involves delivering goods to customers across Mossend, often involving heavy lifting and the need for great teamwork and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Safe and timely delivery of goods to residential and commercial addresses
* Heavy lifting of items (e.g. furniture, white goods, bulky items) with a colleague
* Ensuring deliveries are made with care and respect for the customer’s property
* Accurate completion of paperwork and delivery notes
* Vehicle checks and ensuring vehicle is kept clean and roadworthy
* Providing excellent customer service and a positive attitude on every job
Requirements
* Full 7.5 Ton Driving Licence.
* Valid CPC card and Digital Tachograph card (for 7.5T drivers)
* Good level of physical fitness – heavy lifting is required
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Punctual, reliable, and professional attitude
* Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
