Job Description
Are you a skilled 7.5t (C1) looking for work in Exeter, Swindon and Bristol.
We are currently working with a large national distribution company who are coming up to their busiest period, thus are looking to expand their team of 7.5 tonne drivers starting immediately.
About the role
Firstly, theory test and if successful a full driving assessment followed the next available day, a full induction.
06:00 start
11 hour shifts
Between 15 to 20 drops per day with items up to 79kgs.
White goods and home furnishing and all to room of choice with white goods offered unpack option.
The role is physical and demanding but this is a 2-man crew operation with lifting aids supplied by us.
There will be times that the van crew will be asked to assist the 7.5T crews in the event of breakdowns and heavy traffic.
The role is customer service faced so must be polite and professional, and all customers will receive a 1-hour pre-call to let the customers know their delivery time.
Inductions -
Run for 2 full days and are paid, drug & alcohol testing completed.
PPE required is safety boots & Hi-Vis.
