Job Description

Position: 7.5 Tonne Driver 

Location: Bicester 

Pay rate: £14.50p.h

Start Times: Approx 4am

Pertemps are recruiting 7.5 Tonne Van Drivers to work on an ad hoc basis, supporting a leading food distribution company based in Bicester. If you are looking to enjoy the flexibility of ad hoc shifts, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy and friendly operation.

Pay Rate:

£14.50 per hour

Minimum 8-hour shift guarantee

The role:

As part of the delivery team, you will play an important role in keeping customers stocked with fresh food and hospitality supplies. Your duties will include:

Loading your van and ensuring deliveries are safely secured.

Completing multi-drop deliveries to food service and hospitality customers.

Providing a professional and friendly service at every delivery.

Keeping your vehicle clean, tidy, and roadworthy.

Handling and lifting products weighing up to 25kg.

Requirements for the role:

A full UK cat C1 driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points (no major endorsements).

A valid CPC card

A Valid digicard

Previous experience driving a 7.5-tonne van with confidence.

Good knowledge of the UK road network.

A reliable, flexible, and positive approach to work.

Good communication skills and excellent customer service.

A willingness to work on an ad hoc basis as shifts become available.
