7.5 Tonne Driver – Temp to Perm

Location: Accrington
 Salary: £36,067.20 per annum
 Hours: Average 48 hours per week
 Contract: Temporary to Permanent

We are currently recruiting for an experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our team in Accrington on a temp-to-perm basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and professional HGV driver looking for a long-term position with the potential to secure a permanent role.       

The Role

As a 7.5 Tonne Driver, your responsibilities will include:

Safely operating a 7.5 tonne vehicle.
Completing local and regional deliveries.
Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently.
Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
Completing delivery paperwork accurately.
Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations.
Ensuring all deliveries are completed on time and in accordance with company procedures.
Working safely and in line with all relevant transport legislation.
The Candidate

We are looking for drivers who have:

A valid Category C1 (7.5 tonne) driving licence.
A valid CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card.
Previous experience driving a 7.5 tonne vehicle.
A good knowledge of UK roads.
A professional and reliable approach to work.
Good communication and customer service skills.
A strong commitment to health and safety.
