7.5 Tonne Driver – Temp to Perm
Location: Halifax
Rate of Pay: £13.26 per hour (without FLT) / £14.31 per hour (with valid Counterbalance FLT)
Hours: 6:30am starts, Monday to Friday
Contract Type: Temp to Perm
Occasional Night Shift: Up to 20 nights per year (holiday cover) – enhanced rate applies
We are currently recruiting a reliable and experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver to join one of the UK’s leading manufacturers. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term prospects for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:

Driving 7.5 tonne vehicles for deliveries and collections
*
Loading and unloading goods (manual handling involved)
*
Supporting warehouse operations as needed
*
Covering occasional night shifts (up to 20 per year for holiday cover)
Requirements:

Valid 7.5 tonne (C1) driving licence
*
Valid CPC certification
*
Counterbalance FLT licence (for higher pay rate – can be out of date)
*
Good punctuality and reliability
*
Willingness to be flexible with occasional night shift work
