Job Description
Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a 7.5t Driver/Public Realm Operative to join Nottinghamshire Council on an initial 3 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week (evenings).
The Role:
* Physically fit, able to carry out manual tasks (lifting, pushing, pulling) and walk long distances in all weather conditions
* Holder of a valid driving licence and able to operate vehicles up to 7.5 tonnes
* Ability to use hand and powered tools safely and effectively
* Basic mechanical awareness, including ability to perform vehicle checks
* Team player with the ability to work independently and use initiative
* Good communication skills for dealing with colleagues and members of the public
* Flexible with working hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holiday
* Willing to undertake training and induction and work to our Sops and RA’s
* Ability to use electronic devices for work and to report work completed.
