7.5T Delivery Driver – Permanent Position
Wakefield Area | £13.06 per hour (£27,164 per annum) + Quarterly Bonus
Monday to Friday | Early Morning Starts | Permanent Role
Are you a reliable 7.5T driver who takes pride in delivering excellent service? We’re recruiting on behalf of a respected commercial laundry and workwear provider who is looking for a dedicated 7.5T Customer Delivery Driver to join their team on a permanent basis.
You’ll work a regular delivery route and become a key customer contact – this is a customer-facing role where building relationships and providing a professional, friendly service is just as important as safe and timely driving.
What’s on Offer:
* £13.06 per hour (£27,164 per annum)
* Quarterly bonus – up to £400
* Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 7am starting time
* 21 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays
* Free on-site parking
* Permanent contract
Your Responsibilities:
* Deliver and collect workwear and laundry from a dedicated customer base
* Represent the business professionally and deliver excellent customer service
* Load and unload cages and laundry bags (manual handling required)
* Use PDA or manifest to track deliveries accurately
* Carry out daily vehicle checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness
* Report feedback or customer queries to the operations team
* Attend daily team briefings and stay updated on route changes
What You’ll Need:
* Valid 7.5T licence and Driver CPC (up to date)
* No more than 6 points on licence
* At least 1 year of professional driving experience
* A proactive, customer-focused approach
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Basic computer literacy
