Job Description
Our client based in Avonmouth is looking for a few temp to perm drivers for multidrop delivery of white goods (washing machines, fridges, etc.)
Work is on a 4 on 2 off pattern, company works 7 days a week so some weekends will be included. Staring around 06:30 you will be working with a driver's mate doing up to 25 drops in Bristol area. Routes go as far as Dorset and if this is the case, the number of drops will be lower (up to 17 or so). Over 6 days you will end up doing around 45 hours or so.
Driver will be responsible for installing the equipment, full training is provided. Due to this a BDS check is required - but the client puts you through one if needed.
Following a 12 week period a contract is offered for the successful candidate. Based on your experience annual salary ranges from £30 to £33k.
Due to insurance purposes candidates need to be over 24 years of age.
** Freshly passed drivers accepted** - Good opportunity for someone to start their driving career.
Our ideal driver:
-Will have no more than 6 points on their full UK Licence
-Will have valid CPC and Tacho card
-Will be fine with manual handling and some heavy lifting
-Will be over 24 years of age due to insurance
-Will have or be fine to apply for a DBS check
