Job Description
Service Driver
Bedford
£34,000 + Overtime (45 hours minimum)
We are currently seeking a number of dedicated and experienced Service Drivers to join our client's team in Bedford. You will play a vital role in delivering and collecting a variety of waste services to a variety of clients.
Your responsibilities
* Delivering waste services to customers, collecting at the end of the hire.
* Carry out regular servicing and cleaning of the products
* Support the plan given to delivery/collection/service routes to achieve optimum fuel consumption and most efficient use of driver time.
* Driving company vehicles in a safe, courteous, and responsible manner, including operating within the necessary transport regulations regarding driving hours, in line with company policies and legislation.
* Operating all lifting equipment in a safe manner and in accordance with all Company Safety Directives and method statements.
What we are looking for
* Must have a C1 Driving Licence
* At least 2 years commercial driving experience
* Excellent communication skills
* Physically fit
* Great customer service skills
* Flexibility to do overtime if needed
