Temp-to-Perm 7.5t Driver
50-55-hour weeks

Are you an experienced 7.5t driver looking for a permanent position in the South Birmingham area? We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced and reliable 7.5t driver to join our client in the Kings Norton area, carrying out nationwide general haulage work on a full-time contract!
As a 7.5t driver, your duties will include nationwide delivery of palletised goods, liaising with customers and the transport office to ensure tracking is kept updated and delivering excellent customer service hen dealing with end-point customers. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driver looking for stability and the opportunity to progress within a business!
The role will entail:
- Working independently while delivering nationwide
- Long-distance general haulage deliveries
- Based out of Kings Norton, South Birmingham
- Excellent personal organisation and communication skills, liaising with colleagues and customers for tracked deliveries
Successful 7.5t Driver will:
- Have at least 5 years' experience driving 7.5t vehicles
- Have previous experience in the general haulage industry
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Valid CPC and Digi-Tacho Card
- No more than 6 endorsement points for minor offences (No DDs/ INs)
- Must be 25+ years of age (for Insurance purposes)
7.5t Driver Hours of Work & Rates of Pay:
- Average start times between 05:00 - 06:00 (occasional later starts as required)
- 5-days per week, average 50-55 hours per week
- No Weekend/ Night work
- Annual Salary of £34,920 - all hours and breaks paid
7.5t Driver Benefits:
- Full Contract of Employment and PAYE
- Weekly or Monthly pay via BACS (while temp)
- 24-hour access to consultants
- Free uniform provided
