A Level Computing Lecturer (Temporary) – FE College
📍 Location: Liverpool
📅 Start: May 2026
⏳ Contract: Full-time until July 2026
💰 Rate: Competitive (dependent on experience)

An FE College is seeking an experienced A Level Computing Lecturer to join their team on a full-time temporary basis from May through to the end of the academic year.

This is a great opportunity to step into a well-structured department and support learners through the final stretch of their A Level studies.

🔧 The Role:

  * Deliver engaging A Level Computing lessons to students aged 16–18

  * Prepare students for exams and final assessments

  * Support coursework, programming projects, and theory elements

  * Track progress and provide targeted intervention where needed

  * Work collaboratively with the wider IT/Computing department

✅ Requirements:

  * Experience teaching A Level Computing / Computer Science

  * Strong knowledge of programming (e.g. Python, Java or similar)

  * Previous FE or Sixth Form teaching experience preferred

  * Relevant teaching qualification (PGCE / Cert Ed) desirable

  * Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain)
