Access Control Engineer
Location: Westminster & surrounding areas
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Up to £42,000 per year

Job Summary
You will be responsible for the repair, installation, and maintenance of:
*
Intruder Alarms
*
Access Control
*
Warden Call
*
Communal Aerial
*
CCTV Equipment
All works must be carried out in line with the Health and Safety at Work Act and to industry standards.
Main Responsibilities
*
Service and install a range of Door Entry, Warden Call, Automatic Door/Gate systems, CCTV systems (including IP/Networked), and Intruder Alarms
*
Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
*
Ensure all Access Control/CCTV works meet current British Standards including inspections, tests, and compliance checks
*
Provide daily updates to supervisors/managers and escalate issues in a timely manner
*
Perform any other duties as reasonably requested
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will:
*
Have a background in social housing or local authority maintenance
*
Hold a valid CSCS card
*
Have experience with at least one or more of the following manufacturers: ISM, GDX, ENTROTEC, SML, PAC, KMS, RECRD, GEZE, GALAXY, TEXECOM (training provided)
*
Possess excellent communication and analytical skills
*
Be self-motivated and eager to learn
*
Be able to work independently and as part of a team
*
Hold a Full UK Driving Licence
