Salary:
£25,329 per annum
Hours:
Full-time, 40 hours per week
Contract:
Fixed term until 31st March 2026 – with potential for yearly extension
Essential Requirements
* Experience supporting individuals with housing or tenancy-related needs
* Strong communication, organisational, and relationship-building skills
* Ability to work collaboratively with landlords, local authorities, and partner agencies
* Understanding of housing issues, homelessness prevention, and tenancy sustainment
* Flexible, resilient, and motivated, with a genuine passion for helping others
The Role
As an Accommodation Finding Officer, you’ll support individuals to access and sustain affordable private rented accommodation.
You’ll work directly with customers to source suitable housing, provide practical tenancy support, and help them maintain long-term stability.
Your role will also involve building strong partnerships with private landlords to increase move-on options, prevent evictions, and reduce homelessness across the area. You’ll ensure both tenants and landlords receive effective, solution-focused support that leads to positive, lasting outcomes.
