Our client, a dedicated and hardworking organisation, is seeking a Live-in Accommodation Managers to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with strong organisational, administrative, and property management skills to oversee residential operations and provide essential support to residents. The ideal candidate will be empathetic, professional, and confident in handling challenges, while ensuring the smooth running of properties and maintaining positive relationships with residents, local authorities, and the community. What’s on Offer? · Job type: Full time, permanent · Location: Eastbourne · Salary: £25,000 p/a + mileage paid · Comprehensive benefits package: Free accommodation (inclusive of utilities and council tax), comprehensive health insurance for staff, employee assistance program, laptop and mobile phone provided, flexible working available Key Responsibilities: · Oversee office operations and ensure efficient administration, including maintaining records, schedules, and reports. · Manage check-ins and check-outs of residents, explain house rules, and ensure safe and well-managed exits. · Enforce house rules fairly and manage a structured three-stage eviction process when necessary. · Handle challenging behaviour using de-escalation techniques, supporting residents to engage with external services. · Ensure resident safety and well-being through safeguarding practices and reporting concerns. · Maintain confidentiality and comply with GDPR regulations. · Liaise professionally with local authorities, social care providers, healthcare services, and emergency responders. · Build and maintain positive community relations, addressing complaints where required. · Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conduct fire safety checks, and oversee emergency preparedness. · Oversee cleaning, maintenance, waste management, and report urgent repairs to maintain safe living environments. · Conduct property inspections and coordinate with contractors and service providers. · Accurately log incidents, update the management portal, and track occupancy and compliance. · Manage financial accountability, including expenses, mileage, and procurement approvals. · Engage in mandatory training (safeguarding, mental health, de-escalation, fire safety, GDPR) and uphold professional standards. · Respond effectively to emergencies in line with company policy. Skills, Experience, and Training Requirements: · Demonstrable experience in property management, office management, or administration. · Strong organisational and administrative skills. · Proficiency in software such as Google Sheets and Microsoft Office. · Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. · Ability to multi-task and work independently. · Own transport and full driving licence required.
