About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Account Management Lead to establish and grow our Account Management function. This high-visibility role will allow you to lead strategic initiatives, strengthen key client relationships, and shape the way we engage with our most valuable clients. You’ll act as the trusted face of the business, driving engagement and commercial opportunities while supporting the wider sales team.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement a best-in-class Account Management operating model from the ground up.
* Develop and execute tiering and engagement strategies for strategic accounts, ensuring effective governance.
* Establish and track performance KPIs and client health metrics, delivering insights through client feedback programs.
* Personally manage relationships with Tier 1 accounts, delivering exceptional service and engagement.
* Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, collaborating closely with Sales to drive growth.
* Act as a commercial partner, translating client needs into proposals and product discussions.
* Serve as the main channel for client feedback, influencing product development and operational improvements.
* Anticipate and mitigate risks to client satisfaction, leading escalations where necessary.
* Travel regularly to client sites to strengthen relationships and deliver services in person.
What You Bring
* 5–10 years’ proven experience in Account Management, Client Success, or Client Relations (ideally B2B financial services or fintech).
* Strong track record of managing high-value accounts and engaging effectively with C-level stakeholders.
* Commercial acumen with experience in identifying and closing opportunities within existing accounts.
* Expertise in designing and implementing Account Management frameworks, KPIs, and client feedback programs.
* Excellent relationship-building skills, underpinned by trust and credibility.
* Highly organised, hands-on, and proactive in building functions from the ground up.
What Will Make You Stand Out
* Experience with emerging technologies in fintech or related industries.
* Leadership or mentoring experience.
* Relevant industry certifications.
Experience Required
