The RoleThis is a dynamic and hands-on position within a well-established electronics manufacturing business. You’ll be the primary point of contact for a select group of customers, managing their orders from initial placement through to final shipment. This includes:
Handling customer purchase orders
Coordinating with procurement and stores teams
Liaising with production and engineering departments
Ensuring timely updates and delivery against customer schedulesSome travel within the UK and occasionally abroad may be required. A clean driving license is essential.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience managing customer accounts in a manufacturing setting
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Commercial awareness, especially around revenue and margin impact
Confidence in negotiation and influencing senior stakeholders
Experience using MRP systems and managing complex customer orders
High attention to detail and ability to sense-check commercial data
A background in electronics manufacturing or a closely related fieldWorking Environment & Benefits
Hours: Monday–Thursday 08:00–16:30, Friday 08:00–13:00
Holiday: 5 weeks bank holidays (including Christmas shutdown), with additional days for long service
Pension: Auto-enrolment with 5% employee and 3% employer contributions
