Account Manager Ireland - Cork €90,000 + Package - Company Car / Allowance Brief Account Manager needed for a large well known Facilities Management organisation based in Cork - Ireland who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Account Manager that takes pride in their work. The successful candidate would report to the Operations Director, be responsible for day-to-day operational management of all FM services of the contract. You will ensure that all services are provided consistently to the required standard and that they meet the specific requirements of the FM Contract and Authority Requirements. Qualification wise my client is looking for candidates with the following: IOSH Managing safely At least 3 years' experience in managing a FM Operations Team Experience of liaising directly with the client on similar FM projects Experience of undertaking AP/RP duties within similar FM projects Knowledge of relevant legislation and industry guidelines Benefits Salary: €85,000 - €90,000 per annum Company car / allowance 25 day's holiday Variable annual bonus based 5-15% Pension Plan Career Progression What the role entails: Some of the main duties of the Account Manager will include: Take responsibility for leading the on-site senior management team, delivering to agreed service levels within agreed budgets. Strategically manage and deliver the business strategy across the contract and achieve service objectives and profit while maintaining a high level of Customer satisfaction. Provide leadership and guidance to the team to increase performance thorough consistency and innovation. Responsible for all FM operations delivered across the National Maritime College Ireland Project To ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures and ensure that they are followed by all personnel involved on contract. To work closely with the Client, Authority Representative and College to deliver an excellent service in support of their objectives. To ensure the organisation are meeting SLA's and KPI's consistently across all services provided. To generate and foster an interdependent Health and Safety culture across all services. To ensure that all risks relating to safety, health, environment and quality are effectively managed using risk assessments, PPE, training and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment for both employees and service users. Ensure all accidents and near misses are adequately recorded, investigated and appropriate action taken. To produce internal and contractual Monthly and Annual Performance & Lifecycle Reports for review with clients. To produce Monthly Detailed Contract Reviews for the Operations Director. To develop effective working relationships with operational personnel, suppliers and sub-contractors to improve operational performance. To create a positive working environment for the team. To Identify ways to improve the services and works with the contract team to introduce these. What experience you need to be the successful Account Manager: Skills/Ability/Knowledge Computer literate with good IT skills Able to exercise budgetary control Possess a firm understanding of Health & Safety Knowledge of relevant legislation and industry guidelines Demonstrate a good understanding of health and safety principles Able to organise and prioritise work to meet deadlines Full UK Driving Licence Knowledge of PFI contracts Read Technical Drawings Qualifications: IOSH Managing safely At least 3 years' experience in managing a FM Operations Team Experience of liaising directly with the client on similar FM projects Experience of undertaking AP/RP duties within similar FM projects Knowledge of relevant legislation and industry guidelines Personal Qualities Good communication skills Experience of staff management and performance management techniques Good communication and customer care skills Proactive approach to problem solving Able to manage and develop teams and individuals Flexible and willing Prepared to work out of hours as necessary Prepared to travel to other sites within the Company Possess a current valid driving This really is a fantastic opportunity for a Account Manager to progress their career.
