Main responsibilities for the Account Manager: As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, driving revenue growth through account development and retention. You will identify opportunities to expand existing accounts while supporting new business initiatives to ensure continued growth and financial stability, reporting to the General Manager. * Act as the primary point of contact for members, ensuring they maximise the value of the network. * Support member onboarding, engagement, and ongoing participation. * Build and maintain strong member relationships to maximise engagement, retention, and long-term value. * Collaborate with Board Members to support and implement effective sales processes across the network. * Support new business opportunities within the Managed Services sector. * Identify opportunities to deepen relationships through services, events, or collaborations. * Assist in expanding the company’s presence by targeting new markets, members, and industry sectors. * Maintain a structured sales pipeline using CRM platforms (e.g. HubSpot), ensuring data accuracy and timely follow-ups. * Deliver tailored presentations and proposals to prospective clients and members. * Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders. * Support pricing discussions and contractual negotiations, ensuring timely and efficient agreement processes. * Aid in the alignment of account management and business development activities with the wider company strategy. * Consistently achieve performance targets while maintaining a balanced focus on both short- and long-term objectives. * Ensure compliance with company policies and health and safety requirements. Main Requirements for the Account Manager: * Minimum of 5 year’s previous experience in a B2B role ideally within IT sector. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients and internal teams. * In-depth knowledge of account / sales processes, sales funnels, and customer relationship management systems. * Established history of cultivating strong client relationships and closing deals. * Expertise in prospecting and lead generation, with a strategic focus on engaging with business principals and key decision-makers. * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. * Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude in approaching challenging situations. * Outgoing and confident personality with a friendly manner.
