Account Manager – Commercial Team
Location: Hampshire (Hybrid Working)
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum + bonus + company profit share scheme

The Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated Account Manager to join the Commercial team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and nurturing a portfolio of key existing client accounts, driving enquiries and supporting projects from initial contact through to the early stages of the sales process. This role involves working closely with both customers and internal teams to ensure a seamless and professional experience.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage and develop a portfolio of existing client accounts, ensuring timely and consistent follow-up on enquiries.
* Liaise directly with customers via phone, email, Zoom, and occasional site visits to fully understand their requirements.
* Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Estimating, and Operations teams to deliver exceptional customer service.
* Qualify leads and follow up quotations tenaciously through to order completion.
* Accurately document all customer interactions in the CRM system.
* Ensure customer scopes align with quotations, safeguarding commercial interests.
* Arrange and potentially conduct customer factory tours.
* Act as a company ambassador, adhering to core values and health & safety standards.
Requirements
Essential Experience and Skills:
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in a sales-related role, preferably within manufacturing, joinery, or construction.
* Strong communication skills and a proactive, professional approach to customer service.
* Excellent time and task management with the ability to work independently.
* Solid understanding of the sales process and the ability to interpret technical data.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
* Full, clean UK driving licence.
Desirable:
* Knowledge of joinery products including cabinetry, doors, and windows.
* Ability to read technical drawings.
* Previous joinery or carpentry experience.
* Experience with Pipedrive or Smartsheet software.
