Account Manager
Didcot - office based, however, potential for hybrid working after successful completion of probation
£25,000 to £29,000 base, DOE (£40,000 OTE)
8.30am to 5pm
Are you a people-person who enjoys making a high volume of outbound warm calls? If so, this could be the opportunity for you! You’ll work within a small, friendly team and take ownership of your own set of accounts, building and maintaining strong client relationships.
Job Purpose
* Build and maintain a customer base through outbound call activity to generate monthly sales revenue
* Develop a consistent pipeline of new business
* Support the field sales team with outbound calls, typically campaign-specific
* Assist the inbound sales support team where needed
* Ensure customers honour payment terms
* Be a champion of customer service
Key Responsibilities
* Make outbound calls to customers and prospects to achieve sales targets
* Maintain an accurate customer and prospect database
* Plan and schedule daily, weekly, and monthly sales calls efficiently
* Communicate motivating propositions and promotions to existing customers and prospects
* Generate customer quotations
* Develop in-depth knowledge of products and the industry
* Achieve targets and implement recovery plans for any negative variances
* Provide daily and weekly reports on sales activity
Qualifications / Experience / Skills Required
* Previous customer service experience
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Experience using a CRM system or similar
* Confident and proactive approach
* Strong organisational and planning skills
