We’re working with a well-established and dynamic firm based in the heart of Liverpool city centre who are on the lookout for an ambitious Accounts Manager to lead and support their talented accounts team.

The role:
As Accounts Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading a busy accounts team, managing client relationships, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial services. Your responsibilities will include:

Supervising and mentoring junior team members
*
Reviewing financial statements and working papers for accuracy
*
Managing team workloads and running weekly update meetings
*
Acting as a key contact for clients, building strong and lasting relationships
*
Monitoring budgets and ensuring efficient delivery of work
*
Staying up to date with financial reporting standards and best practices
*
Identifying opportunities to support business growth
What we’re looking for:
*
ACA/ACCA qualified with at least 3–5 years' post-qualified experience
*
Strong background in accounts preparation within a UK practice environment
*
Solid knowledge of UK accounting standards
*
Confident using software such as TaxCalc, Xero, QuickBooks, Sage and Excel
*
A proactive mindset with excellent communication skills
*
Ability to lead a team and manage competing priorities
*
Commercial awareness and a passion for delivering top-tier service
