My client is looking for a proactive and experienced individual who can bring expertise, energy, and innovation to the team. You’ll have the autonomy to lead client relationships, contribute to strategic growth, and help continue delivering exceptional service in a modern, client-focused way.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead initial client meetings, manage onboarding processes, and ensure ongoing compliance with statutory filing requirements
* Provide expert advice, handle client queries, and maintain strong, long-term relationships
* Collaborate with the wider team, which currently includes an Assistant Accountant, Bookkeeper, and Payroll Manager — and provide cover where needed
* Travel to Derby office and other regional offices as required
Day-to-Day Duties Include:
* Preparation and review of personal and company tax returns
* Production of year-end accounts for a variety of clients
* Oversight of VAT returns completed by the Assistant Accountant
* Delivering business advice and consultancy services
* Conducting client meetings and providing exceptional customer service
* Supporting clients with Xero setup, training, and migrations
* Managing client workflows, tasks, and deadlines
* Handling queries and resolving any complaints promptly and professionally
What We’re Looking For:
* A part qualified accountant preferably with experience of working in a practice.
* A self-starter who can work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
* An open-minded and approachable individual with a passion for delivering five-star customer service
* An ambitious, hungry part qualified accountant able to work at speed and juggle responsibilities
* Someone ready to grow with the business - with future opportunities to build and lead your own team
You will be provided with a salary of up to £40,000, depending on experience, with study support, bonus, pension, health insurance, professional subscriptions. The company also offer a relaxed and friendly working environment.
